Inspired by Colossians 2:6–7 and Jeremiah 17:7–8, I created this artwork as a reminder of where our roots are.
It’s easy to get caught up in the world and place our identity in things that don’t last, like achievements, plans, or material things. But our roots are not meant to be in those things, they are meant to be in Him.
When your roots are in God, there is a different kind of stability. Even when life feels uncertain, even when things around you shift, you are still held. You are still grounded in something that doesn’t move.
Like a tree planted by water, you are sustained in ways you don’t always see. God continues to provide, to strengthen and to grow you, even in seasons that feel dry or unclear.
I wanted this canvas to be something you can come back to as a reminder that your foundation is not in the world, but in His love. And when your roots are in Him, you are supported, steady, and never alone.
